Rederij Schuttevaer applies the General Terms and Conditions broadly as prescribed in the KBN General Terms and Conditions for Passenger Shipping and Passenger Transport Conditions.

1. Changes to Timetable
1.1 Rederij Schuttevaer reserves the right to change timetables in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions or technical malfunctions.
2. Loss and Damage
2.1 Rederij Schuttevaer is not responsible for loss or damage to passengers’ personal property.
2.2 Rederij Schuttevaer is not responsible for information about it published on websites of external parties. Therefore, no rights can be derived from this.
3. Medical Conditions
3.1 Passengers with medical conditions are advised to consult their doctor before boarding and to share this information with the shipping company.
4. Photography and Videography
4.1 During the voyages, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes. Passengers who object to the use of their images must make this known in advance.
5. Accuracy of Information
5.1 The information on this website is updated regularly, but Rederij Schuttevaer cannot be held liable for errors or omissions.
6. External Links
6.1 Our website may contain links to external sites. Rederij Schuttevaer is not responsible for the content of these external sites.
Additional Terms and Conditions
For partner packages requiring a reservation, it may turn out after placing the online reservation that there is no availability (anymore). Rederij Schuttevaer will contact you regarding this.
1. Packages with Humphrey’s:
1.1 Drinks outside of packages can be ordered. This is in addition to the stated price and will be settled at the restaurant.
1.2 These packages are not valid in combination with other promotions and discounts.
1.3 The duration of the dinner within this package is 2.5 hours.
1.4 Reservations are required.
2. Discount Vouchers, Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards, U-passes, or Dordtpasses
2.1 When making a booking using one of the above, you agree to the following:
2.1.1 The aforementioned discount and gift vouchers and/or passes must be brought along and shown or handed in at one of the points of sale; If these are not brought along or cannot be physically shown (a photo, scan, or copy is not permitted), the full amount will still be charged.
2.1.2 Combining discount promotions/vouchers with gift vouchers is not possible.
2.1.3 Vouchers or passes whose validity date has expired will no longer be accepted.
3. Boat Rental
3.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to check quotations and confirmations for accuracy. If incompleteness or inaccuracies are noticed, this must be reported to Rederij Schuttevaer as soon as possible. If possible, Rederij Schuttevaer will comply with any requests for changes/additions.
3.2 On board a chartered vessel, only catering items discussed and recorded in advance via the confirmation will be included. It is not possible to order other items on board unless agreements regarding this have been made prior to the voyage.
3.3 Arriving late will be deducted from the duration of the voyage; if possible, the voyage may continue until later. This will then be passed on in boat rental and any additional costs such as a hostess or evening surcharge.
3.4 If one wishes to board and/or disembark elsewhere than at the Oudegracht near the Viebrug, under Hoog Catharijne, or at the Nieuwekade, pre- and/or post-cruise costs will be charged.
3.5 If the ship has to pass through bridges or locks outside their operating hours before, during, or after the voyage, these costs will be passed on to the customer.
Customers must be aware of our cancellation policy. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
4. Refreshments
4.1 Refreshments are only permitted on ships chartered for one’s own party or when explicit permission has been granted for this.
4.2 The guest and/or customer is only permitted to consume drinks on board the ship that have not been provided by the shipping company after written permission. In this case, the customer owes a corkage fee per bottle consumed.
4.3 If the guest and/or customer consumes food on board the ship that has not been provided by the shipping company, the customer owes a kitchen fee in respect thereof.
4.4 The amounts pertaining to articles 4.2 and 4.3 are specified in the document Catering Overview.
5. Boat tour Duration
5.1 The boat tour duration may fluctuate depending on water traffic. You will sail roughly for the time you have booked, including boarding and disembarking times.
6. Conditions Regarding Type of Meeting
6.1 Rederij Schuttevaer does not accept reservations for bachelor parties or student parties. If the type of meeting is not stated when submitting the request and it subsequently turns out that the reservation relates to one of these two categories, Rederij Schuttevaer reserves the right to cancel the sailing immediately.
