Enjoy a wonderful day out while sailing through the beautiful nature of the Kromme Rijn! From July to September, the boat departs every Sunday at 10.30 am from the Oudegracht.

During the day trip to Rhijnauwen you will enjoy both the beautiful center of the city of Utrecht as well as the nature along the Kromme Rijn.
The area along the Kromme Rijn between Utrecht and Bunnik is a well-known natural and quiet area. You will sail past the Old- and New Amelisweerd estates.
Fort Rhijnauwen is part of the Hollandse Waterlinie, which is now managed by Staatsbosbeheer, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
Stayokay Bunnik is located in the De Ridderhofstad country house and is currently used for parties and as a hostel.
After an hour and a half of sailing we moor at Theehuis Rhijnauwen, known for the great terrace at the water. You can go for a walk there or enjoy a delicious pancake.
On this day trip we treat you to a complete cruise through the city of Utrecht as well.
You can often spot birds when we sail quietly through the woods and along the reed beds. We occasionally encounter the kingfisher in this area. There are also many bat species, these only appear at dusk. Bats sleep in old trees and in the forts of the New Dutch Waterline.
Herons, many species of geese, reed warbler are of course common birds during our boat trip to Rhijnauwen. With a bit of luck you will spot a Kingfisher!

De Haar Castle is located in Haarzuilen. A beautiful castle with lovely gardens. How are guided tours given on a daily basis.
Party farm de Weistaar can be found in Maarsbergen. They offer a lot. Lunches, dinners, activities and day trips.
Oud Zuylen is a beautiful castle on the Vecht. A visit with a tea in the tearoom. A 2 hour boat trip on the Vecht is possible from here.
Visit the Museumwerf with all its old ships and historic commercial vessels. These rounds are taken care of by the volunteers.
The Veldkeuken is located on the Kromme Rijn. They only work with organic products. Combine lunch with a 2-hour cruise on the Kromme Rijn.
